The Ashtabula Downtown Development Association will be putting on “Open for Businesss” 6/17. They have lined up many key resources for new businesses to attend so they can answer your questions on opening a new business on Main Street. We will be there along with many other groups that support local businesses. Go to their website for more information and to register. https://www.downtownashtabula.com/openhouseretailproperties
Our next Starting and Growing a New Business Course will be at the Geneva City Council Chambers beginning 5/18. Registration will begin the week of 4/19. We will again be limited to 9 participants to comply with distancing requirements.
We are offering the Starting and Growing a New Business course on-line beginning 1/26. The course is the same as our in-person course, but will be offered on Zoom. See our Class Schedule page for more info.
If you would like to support NEO Fund in its mission of promoting entrepreneurship in Ashtabula County, we just made it easier to make a donation. We added a donation button to the Contact page, so you can make a donation on-line.
This week we finished the Conneaut course. Congratulations to everyone that completed the course. Jim Hockaday, the City Manager of Conneaut, was able to join us for the last session. He gave the participants some great feedback on their business presentation as well as what support the community has to offer for local entrepreneurs.
The Starting and Growing a New Business class at the Conneaut Library is full, so registration has been closed. We will be offering the class several times in 2021. Go the the Class Schedule page, leave your contact info and we will contact you when the 2021 classes are scheduled.
